This is a really nice trench/pea coat. I'm always wary of so-called 'no name' brands on amazon, but i have found some of the best (and worst) coats that way. This one falls into the former category. It fits great right out of the package for the most part. The sleeves are a TOUCH long, but a $15 tailor job fixed that (speaking of, all the seams are super accessible, so any sort of alterations are pretty easy. I will say the photos are a bit misleading, the lapels don't stick out like in the photos, nor are they that prominent. They lie flat more like a pea coat. As far as fit goes, this is pretty true to size, bordering on fitted (not quite slim, but tapered silhouette). The armpits are a bit high up, so keep that in mind when deciding what to wear it with. There's enough room for a suit under there, but maybe not a thick cable-knit sweater. Your mileage may vary. The exterior is NOT wool, it's imitation wool made of polyester, but doesn't have the sheen of poly... so no worries there. It's almost felt-ish without pilling off or anything like that. And while the outside has a that rough, brillo feeling right off the jump, the inner lining is nice and smooth. It's not a SUPER heavyweight coat, and especially since it's not real wool, don't expect this thing to keep you comfy in the dead of winter. But for colder days and especially cool nights, this can't be beat.

This coat is long and sleek with a classy look. The fabric itself is a little course but the inside lining is very soft. It keeps my husband warm in below 20 degree temps and looks super nice on him. The buttons are sewn on securely and overall this coat is very snazzy.
