Door sensor works well. Easy to pair with Smartthings Zigbee hub and hasn't disconnected yet. It's only been a few weeks, but battery life is still at 100%. Updates reliably, really all you can ask for in a door sensor.

I had alas bought many of these units and have never been happy with them. The circuit board's fit into the case is loose. Have to add something in between the battery and the case to ensure proper contact. Even then, these will show as unavailable in home assistant after a while and require re-pairing.When you need them most, e.g. you're on holiday and want to know your place is secured.. they will be unavailable and there is nothing you can do remotely to bring them back on.I now switched to newer Aqara sensors which work great with ZHA and HA. No issues. Zilch. Nada!

50/50 reliability. Buy twice as many as you need. Half will fall offline weekly. Pairs and works fine and then suddenly a week later it will be offline. No way to get it back without a hard reset. I would give 5 stars if they would swap out a new one.

I bought 3 other door sensors before this one. The others wanted you to install software specifically for that sensor but they still would not connect to Smartthings. The SONOFF connected directly to Smartthings without the SONOFF software.Super Easy connection to Smartthings! And super affordable...

This contact is 100% zigbee supported by Alexa. Can b added 2 routines w/o a hitch. No need 2 use 3rd party app. Using a door sensor 4 burgular alarm system.

Highly do not recommend!!For the first 3-6 months they worked really well. Since then they constantly (1 to 3 times a week) go offline and have to be manually re-added.Additionally, the casing design is poor, so a door that gets regularly used will have the sensor battery dislodged and need to be manually opened and forced back into place.

They work as expected, and setup within Home Assistant was painless. However, I recommend going with the Aqara contact sensors instead. The Sonoff ones are noticeably bulkier with sharper edges, so they stand out a little more and don't blend in as easily as the Aqara ones. They also seem to be less sensitive than the Aqara sensors, so you have to get the pieces closer together to register a "closed" signal. Under most circumstances this won't be a problem, but if you have an older home with crooked door frames (like I do), those extra millimeters of flexibility make placement a lot easier.

This is about the SNZB-04The good: I was able to pair this with a 4th gen Echo without using the Sonoff zigbee hub, and trigger routines. The bad: It didn’t ship with a battery and the battery holder is very flexible and doesn’t maintain a connection without bending it. Also I’m able to trigger routines but after I only have one of these, so I don’t know if it’s a problem unit, or if they’d all exhibit these issues.

I’m running ZHA integration in HA. Zigbee network is using a dresden elektronik ConBee II as the hub.Took about 2 seconds to connect after putting in a battery and pushing the reset button to make it pair. Attached it to the garage door and frame and it works beautifully!
