Not sure what happened to the rest of my review, but originally I was saying I bought this camera instead of the Z280 because of the advanced Auto Focus and it has slightly better Low Light capabilities. I'm a Musician and I will be using it to record concerts and shows. The Z280 has trouble following faces if the person turns away from the camera. This Z90V can lock onto Objects, so People, Cars, Wildlife, etc. That's a lot more versatile. In addition it uses standard SD cards and can do SD relay recordings extending the recording time.In my off time I'll be shooting Wildlife and Home Movies essentially and this Camera can do Run and Gun with no problem. There are 10 Camera Presets that pretty much cover the field from about 2017 to today (2024) shooting with the most common formats used by pros and amateurs alike. In addition to a few other obvious Auto Settings to take care of in between lighting and environmental situations a less experienced camera person might come across. It gives you the opportunity to go manual, or totally Automatic for whatever you might find. I might change my mind in a few months, but right now, I'm very pleased and blown away by its Zoom lens.
