I received this beautiful lyre harp in great condition and packed very well for protection. Each lyre can sound a little different and when I strummed the strings of this lyre it has a deep ethereal sound that captivates the ears! I inspected the quality of the instrument and it is very evident that the one who manufactured this lyre has a love for doing so, as the smoothness of the wood, even at the joins, feels like butter under your fingertips; so great care was taken to ensure this lyre's quality would be unsurpassed. The pegs felt sturdy, the strings were all strung well and extra strings of the smaller dimensions, (those that would be most likely to break), were sent as replacements which is a nice extra. Also the tool needed to tune the lyre was also included as well as a special cleaning cloth to clean the strings and the wood was also included. I am not new to music, but I am new to playing a lyre, and I am very anxious to start down that journey.Cons: Actually I could not find any. No cons to the lyre and not even any cons to the delivery of the lyre, as it arrived well in advance of it's expected delivery date! Oh, I did think of one thing that caused me some concern at first, and that is that the manual that came with the lyre is not in English. But if you will download Google Translate app from Google Play Store, you will very easily be able to translate this manual. Just take a picture of the page with your cell phone and get an immediate translation, so if you do this, it will no longer be a con of buying this lyre.If someone is reading this because you are interested in possibly purchaseing this lyre, I would not hesitate one bit. This is a very high quality made instrument being offered at a reasonable price. I had asked several questions from the seller before purchasing, and they were very accommodating and answered all of my questions.
