If you are looking for a good basic closed face reel and rod combo then look no further than this one!When you open the package the reel and rod is in a nice color matching bag. I was really surprised it came with two rod tips in case you break one!You do have to install the reel yourself but it’s super easy. The reel is really durable. I’ve caught some big fish with it and don’t have any issues. It reels smooth and doesn’t tangle easily.For the price this is a great option and you won’t be disappointed in your purchase.

Got this as a gift for my husband, he was super excited to get it setup and try it out and after he took it outside to cast it and see how it did before taking it to the lake, he came inside pretty upset the reel doesn't work so the string doesn't come and said it's definitely not worth paying for hopefully other have a good experience with theirs and we just got a dud. But definitely not satisfied by the outcome, it is no good if the reel doesn't work. Especially since you can't even cast out. Feels cheaply made and didn't not work. Will be purchasing a different brand in the future .

I have ordered this fishing rod reel combo and tried it out when I went to fishing with my friend. The reel is super easy to install on the rod; you just have to make sure that the reel foot is seated and tightened adequately on the rod. Obviously they included the wrong catalogue for the reel, luckily the mechanism of the reel is not that complicated to grasp. The reel is made out of different types of metal and not plastic which is a good thing, I liked the honey comb design of the reels cap so I can see inside what's going on with the line while I'm fishing, But the feature that I liked most in this reel is the left and right reversible handle; Now I'm a right handed but my friend is left handed so both of us can use it.When it comes to the rod I really got used to this handle that comes with the pointing finger holder so that the rod won't get slipped away from my hands easily.Long story short this Spincast fishing rod reel combo gave me and my friend a good fishing experience I'm sure it would do the same for you.I give this product 5 Stars.

For this price point I was expected a bit more. The pole is really nice but the reel is not up to par.I got this for an 11yo kid so im not trying to get “top shelf” equipment. After opening it I wasn’t overly impressed. Its not a bad setup, however the quality doesn’t align with the cost. I can get a more cost effective combo by visiting any sporting goods store.Here are some observations:Pole – the kit come with 3 sections of poles. A base pole and 2 identical upper sections. Im not 100% why there is 2 of the same sections. My guess is if you accidently break the upper portion. The pole itself is super lightweight, so im assuming that it is actually made from carbon fiber.Reel – the reel feels pretty heavy, however there is a lot of plastic components. The Reel is pre-loaded with regular white nylon thread instead of a fishing style of line.

Looks great and works well. It’s was perfect for getting my daughter into fishing. She loved the look of it so it was much easier to get her to try and learn to use it. Now she is asking me every weekend to go fishing.

Wow, what a great well-made fishing pole. How do you know I’m married a princess, because she is holding this fishing pole at the lake. My wife has been using this pole when we go fishing and she absolutely loves it. She is 99% princess and one percent Fisher woman. The heavy duty real is an absolute joy to operate. Setting the drag was easy and using this real takes no effort whatsoever. I’m not sure what the gear ratio is, but the return is so smooth and paired with this poll has earned my wife a new name - fish slayer. My wife is always went fishing with me but more to keep me company and to hang out and actually fish. When she saw the beauty and the field of this rod and rail, she said it was her spirit tool. This pole will cast be at a good distance with very little effort. I have no negative whatsoever and if I could give it 10 stars I was. It’s just a well built, well designed quality rod and reel that will provide years of service. 5 stars given.
