This UV stabilized plastic or stainless steel boat latch is durable and resistant to the harsh marine conditions. With a 2.41" diameter they are designed to fit in a standard 2" hole cutout. Our locking latches are supplied with two keys on a key ring and all latches come with instructions for easy two bolt installation. Attractive flush-mount styling, a recessed handle, and concealed mounting hardware gives these latches an appealing look. They also have great functionality, a solid feel, and push to close convenience. Corrosive resistant construction keeps them functional and looking great for years. These latches are a very commonly used OEM product used on access doors, baitwell lids, center console doors, tackle units, and drawer units. There are also many exterior cabinetry applications as well. Great for use around your outdoor summer kitchen or grill area. We have simplified purchasing these replacement latches by supplying them with multiple backing plates so that one product will fit nearly every door thicknesses. Don't purchase this product somewhere else only to find out that you have the latch for the wrong door thickness and your brand new latch will not work. I purchased this to replace a broken one on the baitwell of my Sea Ray DC180. It is pricey, but is a very high-quality product and fit perfectly. I literally removed the old one and installed this one in 5 minutes with only a phillips screwdriver. It's worth the money.
