If you are looking for “Bora” this is it. The plant climbs and produces long beans through the warm months.

Have not planted them yet but the beans look good. Hopefully they will yield as much as last year's crop. About 1 lb a day for grown on 10 feet of fence.

Purchased a packet of seeds in early January (along with a packet of Blue Lake pole beans). Planted both types side by side in my garden at the end of March. By mid April, the blue lake had almost all sprouted but only 4 of these long beans. I figured I planted those too early in the season (ground temp was 68° then) so I put 20 in a seed tray inside with the intention of transplanting once the sprouts were over 6" tall.Only one bean has sprouted so far, and it's been over 2 weeks.

I figured all seeds wouldn't be viable so I planted a couple in every space, but they all grew and super fast. I have more than I can handle so maybe plant a couple seeds in one place give some to friends or save for next year. I also assumed I had time to figure out how I wanted to trellis these, but they grew very quickly. Great Value and quality for the money and they taste good. I would recommend looking up how to tell when they are ready for harvest because that's the most difficult part for me. I've never grown these before and I'm really impressed.

I planted 1/2 of my 4 X 8 raised bed with a row of long beans along side of an arched cattle panel tunnel. The beans were prolific and kept growing right through October. I still have almost half the seeds left in the package for next year in the freezer. I froze around 25 quarts and gave as many picked bags away. Highly recommend this product.

I initially planted 18 seeds and only 4 came up. However, those 4 are very strong plants that grew quickly. I'm planting the remainder of the package in the hopes that more than 1/4 will survive. I would probably try a competitor seed before I would reorder these. Maybe when the beans actually grow it will be worth the initial loss.
