I go through approximately 50 tealights during the holiday season. I typically buy the cheap big chain department store brand, and they only burn for 2-3hrs. These candles are soy, which I prefer, because they just offer a cleaner burn, and they really do burn a full 6hrs. After 4.5hrs the entire wick was visible, and I'll be honest, I became quite disappointed, because I thought there was no way it was lasting another hour and a half and I was waiting for it to fizzle out. But it really didn't. It held strong clear through hour 6. I will say though, around the last 20mins it did dim down quite a bit. So if you plan on using these the full 6hrs, expect only about 20% light for the last 20-30mins. I'm looking forward to using half the amount of candles this holding season. These are great long burning candles, true to their advertised 6-hour burn time.
