These are a great value for the price that I paid and they do work properly on everything except the neck of a plastic hanger. They still work but they're crooked. They hang perfectly on a wire neck hanger, but on a plastic hanger they will not lay flat though they will still hold an additional hanger. They hold both plastic and wire necked hangers fine. So they work great but I really wanted to have them on my white plastic hangers for a matching look and those are the only ones they don't fit properly.

These cascading hangars are designed to fit over the metal hook on your clothes hangars so that you can streamline the clothes in your closets. The hangars are made from white polypropylene with the overall size of each hangar 3/4" W x 1-1/4" L x 3/16" thick. The top portion of the hangar is flat, 1-1/8" L, & slightly angled down. The upper edge of the top is rounded with a centered 3/8" diameter hole that is 1/8" from the sides & edge. The hangar drops straight down 1-1/8" & then curves back up to form a 7/8" H lip. This lip creates a hook 1/2" from front to back with a 5/16" opening. This cascading hangar is placed over the hook of the clothes hangar & left on the clothes hangar. You then can hang another clothes hangar in the hook of the cascading hangar, which allows you to maximize the vertical space in your closet & free up horizontal space. Each cascading hangar can hold approximately 11 pounds. As a result, you can continue to add additional cascading hangars to the previously hung hangar as long as you don't exceed the maximum weight allowance or reach the bottom of the closet. These cascading hangars can be used with all types of clothes hangars providing the hole will slide over the hook on the clothes hangar. The hooks of subsequent hangars will need to fit behind the lip in the hook portion of the cascading hangar. These hangars are about 3/16" thick & are quite durable so should provide years of space saving use in your closets. I used them to maximize the vertical space & minimize the horizontal space in all my closets. They are great for vertically cascading pant hangars that generally take up a lot of horizontal space on your closet rods.
