Your cart is empty.These tabs are compressed versions of the traditional pH Decreaser, sodium bisulfate. They are smaller than the standard 1”, but 1 tab per 250 gallons will lower the pH by 0.1-0.2 units. These tabs dissolve via erosion. While these tabs don’t effervesce when placed in the spa filter compartment with jets operating, they will dissolve in just a few minutes. Since the average pH of a spa tends to rise daily, a pH decreasing product is a must-have. Applying directly to the footwell promote a slower dissolution experience and is not recommended. It is important to not leave any undissolved material in the footwells or surfaces of the spa. If applying directly to the water, brush away any undissolved material. Due to their ease of use, customers who often adjust pH could dose more frequently. As with making pH adjustments using a granular pH decreaser, the total alkalinity will drop along with the pH. As a result, the total alkalinity might require more frequent adjustments.
