It seems to work fine and is not too noisy. Used as a backup to my engine fan and is on manual switch. Product is fine, but ad presentation is a problem. I wanted a 16" but after reading "additional information" page I downsized to a 14" due to listed "product dimensions". After I received the fan I discovered the dimensions listed were for the packaging not the fan!!! I could have go with a 16" after all!
