Perhaps not the finest control over the outlet pressure, but it worked perfectly fine for a mini split install pressure test. Did not leak once it was tight, and I really appreciated that it has the 1/4" fitting so common for mini split pressure hoses. Hooked right up to the rest of the parts I bought on one side, and to the small N2 tank on the other side.

Seems a little noisy at low flow, but it works well & does not leak.

I only used this regulator a couple times so I can’t say how it will hold up over time. I usually try to wait a little while and really use the product before I write a review. With this regulator I know I won’t be using it much. For the times I have used it I have no complaints. When I opened the box I was surprised this seems like a real good quality regulator. The gauges are almost perfectly accurate. The body was heavy brass. It sealed nicely no leaks. I didn’t test the max pressure but it easily went to 400.

Some reviewers noted that it wouldn't hook up to an AC Manifold Guage Set, which I found to be true and frustrating, but some review of the Manifold manual and research, I found the exact adapter that would solve the problem. The regulator output is 1/4" MFL (flare fitting) and the yellow hose (on my AC Manifold set) is 1/2" ACME . So to connect to the nitrogen tank, you need this adapter to convert the regulator output from 1/4" FL to the 1/2" ACME. Worked like a charm. Hope this helps.https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000LQN6HM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
