The picture is a show this as blending in with other rocks is a joke this looks so hokey and fake complete shiny plastic there’s no way you would not be able to tell this is a fake rock with a bunch of the rocks around it. If you buy it you’re gonna need to send it or do something so it doesn’t look shiny fake gray plastic.

The brown version of this key-rock is almost a dead ringer for the rocks around my house . . . in the photos, that is. It does look good, better than any other plastic fake rock key-keeper I’ve seen, but, in person, it’s easy to see that it’s plastic, and the perfectly flat bottom is a dead giveaway. But these are minor quibbles: the bottom probably needs to be flat for the sliding door cover to work easily, and a good scouring with some dirt will most likely take care of the façade. The chamber isn’t moisture proof, so a couple of small ziplock bags are thoughtfully included to protect your keys against corrosion. Do keep in mind that placement (for any of these little fake-outs) is really the key to their effectiveness. If you were hoping to keep this on an outside windowsill next to your door, then, um, it’ll be perfectly obvious what it is. But squirreled away in a perhaps slightly less convenient place, its effectiveness will likely go up considerably. As they say, context matters. All said, I’m happy to have this little keeper!

I recently purchased the Aytupotin Spare Key Hider Rock to securely hide a spare key outside, and I’m impressed with how effective and discreet it is. The rock has a realistic design that blends seamlessly with my garden decor, making it nearly impossible to distinguish from actual stones.ProsRealistic Appearance: The brown color and texture are very natural, so it doesn’t look out of place in the yard.Durability: It feels sturdy and weather-resistant, which is essential for outdoor use.Ease of Use: The compartment is the perfect size for a standard key and is easy to access but still secure.Convenient and Safe: It’s a great solution for emergencies when someone might need to access the house.ConsSize Limitations: The compartment might be too small for larger or bulkier keys, so keep that in mind if you have specialty keys.Weight: While it looks real, it’s much lighter than an actual rock. This might make it more noticeable to someone actively searching for a hidden key.Overall, this key hider has been a fantastic addition to my home security setup. It gives me peace of mind knowing I won’t be locked out if I ever forget my keys. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a discreet, practical way to hide a spare key in their yard or garden.Thank you

We bought this just to hold the key that's for the lock on the shed that houses our homes water filtration system. Its not a key to my house, or this probably wouldn't be the best choice (if it were to be out in the open). These things Never truly look like a real rock. Its plastic, I get it. But I don't care much for this purpose, it'll sit near the filtration pad so the water guy can find it. But I would only use this for a house key if it were really disguised pretty well so it wasn't so obviously a fake rock.

These usually look very obviously fake, but this looks like every gray landscaping rock I've ever seen, and even matches those gray cement animal figurines that are so common. We have a bunny and this looks like it's designed to go with it. Comes with some plastic bags stuffed inside to protect your key or whatever you're hiding it it. That's a nice touch and would be great for the modern electronic car key.

Up close I can tell it was 3D printed in plastic, you can see the layering, but the finish looks really good, very rock-like. Just better hope no one malicious accidentally picks it up, as it's very light with nothing in it and becomes very obvious it's not a real rock upon brief inspection. I like that it comes with 2 little plastic zip-bags for things you don't want to get wet.Otherwise, not much else to say, blends in well with the environment if you hid it among like-elements. I think they did a good job manufacturing this. Now you must do a good job hiding it.

Exactly as advertised, and looks very very convincing and real. I think all I need to do is throw some dirt from my garden on top of it and place it under a plant, and no one will ever think that it's not actually a real rock!

Smaller than I thought. Not very realistic looking.
