SPART Tib Bar Tibialis Anterior Exercise Equipment

Why Need Tib Bar?

  • The tibialis anterior is the muscle that runs next to the shin bone, down the front of the leg from the knee to the ankle. When the tibialis anterior muscle is weak, undue force being generated through walking, running or jumping makes its way to the knee, causing knee pain and shin splints.
  • Strengthening the tibialis anterior has been linked to a decrease in shin splints and knee pain. Using the Tib Bar also helps to strengthen the muscles, tendons and ligaments surrounding the ankle while simultaneously stretching and increasing the ankles range of motion.

How to Use Tib Bar?

  • Ensure the weights are pushed up against the SPART customised barbell clamps and secured tightly with our custom locking clamp. Be seated with your upper legs and knees supported and feet / lower calf extended out. The Tib Bar then hooks easily onto the end of the feet and is used for a full ankle rotation curl upwards and back down.

No problems at all. Works just as I need it to. Great product for a fraction of the price that many other brands sell these for.

I have been using this product for a few months. I can't say I see a difference and really it's not a workout tool I use daily but incorporate in my leg workouts once a week. I am hoping it helps with my knee pain, but I just started this journey with this product and the knee over toes program. I have been working out for over twenty years and my knees have been an issue for at least 5 years because I neglected to train the tendons so I have a lot of recovery to do

This is pretty ok. Prior to purchasing two of these, I'd had an artisan make a pair, which worked well... And still work. The DIY set work better actually. Why? Because they are built better. For clients with feet under size 9, this purchase just slips right off. The space where the feet slip in, is way too bigThe plus side? They look really good. Nicely welded. Great paint job.

This product does what it advertises. The clamp slides a bit much for my tastes, but I have tons of clamps, so that's not much of an issue for me. I do find it to be hard to put a good amount of weight on simply because of the logistics of getting the bar into the proper places to exercise after putting more than 30lbs on. I'm sure there's a way, but for now I'm relegated to putting the bar on a bench in front of me, loading it with weight, placing my feet as best I can, and then pushing the bar off the edge of the bench until my feet are in a good place to lift. I'm mostly back to using a strap to wrap around my foot and a dumbbell for single leg lifts. I would've returned it if I had come to this conclusion a bit sooner bc it is simply not useful for me. Again, this is not the fault of the bar, it's just not as useful as I wanted it to be bc 30 lbs is barely a workout for both tibs for me.Update: none of my clamps actually got this bar. They're all too big. And it seems like the provided clamp is sliding more and more as time goes on. I get the feeling that eventually it's gonna slide right off the bat, along with whatever weight I have in it at the time. I should've returned this immediately, but now I'm stuck with it until I decide to replace it.

Weight collar will slide off with any significant weight. Annoying but gets the job done.

Looks nice and works fine. Just a little big for my feets, so it would have been nice to have an adjustment mechanism for that.

I got this to help with PT after my knee surgery. Not being able to use my right leg for a month had the muscles weakening considerably. I've just started with PT, but it's nice to have this at home so I can continue to work it on days when I don't have PT scheduled. Easy to use & works with the plates I currently had.
