These look fantastic on my Cobalt SS. Only negative I'd say is they're not exactly plug and play as advertised. But once they're working, they're awesome.

I installed the brake lights no problem and they hold into place however as well as has an gasket but the backup light covers are junky and useless. I put barely any force trying to gently feed it through and both lights had the tabs crack. I basically had to silicone super glue the light to the frame in order to get it to stay and use the previous screws to tap and dye to give it additional support, I also super glued the screws to the frame of the trunk. I like the Brake lights but I am very disappointed in the quality of the backup light covers

Spec-D is a great and reliable company! I have tail lights from them on my cobalt and on my Genesis, both look amazing and have had no issues! If you’re confused while putting these in because the things the bolts screw to aren’t threaded, the thread by themselves when you put the bolt on. They have been great and have had them for I think a year now. Would highly recommend!

I bought these for my 06 cobalt ss s/c, they were delivered fast and extremely well packaged, mounted just as originals did, they look awesome and are well built, the LEDs are nice and bright, I put an LED bulb in the back ups and they look great, ive had many compliments already, I love how they look, I highly reccomend these! I uploaded pics.

These lights look amazing. The only thing is when I went to install the trunk reverse lights, the prongs that hold it in snapped off and the piece that goes through the little hole isn't treaded so I had to do some fabricating.

they look and work great and are plug and play and include wired in resistors that have adhesive for mounting behind the tail light. you reuse all of the stock hardware to install them and make sure you peel the foam off your old lights to put on the new ones to seal the openings in your trunk. its a pain but do it.

Product was great! They don't mention what to do with the box for the left and right rear, butvyou can tell it needs to be mounted inside. Install was a breeze on my Chevrolet Cobalt 07 LS. Guys, the plastic pin things mentioned in the other review(s) for the trunk lights are no big deal. I dont know much about cars, im an IT guy, and even I installed this in like 15 minutes (took my time getting the gaskets off the old lights too). I mean, the trunk lights snap out easily, and the cable from the car plugs right into the bulb socket of the new headlight (once on each side).Tip from my experience to make the job easier next time:Go buy "hook n loop" squares for 2$ and reinforce the headlight mounts' for added stability. These may come in handy if you have a few extra because you can use them to make a velcro catch to fold the carpetwalls back for a returned-clean look after the job. The stock adhesive was barely sticky at all. I knew I HAD to buy hooknloops.

Upgrading the look of my car and came across these. Easy swap for the stock assemblies (they're a direct fit), great visibility (though you may want to look for an LED bulb for your back up light. It's a 921 bulb size), and it looks amazing when you're done.My automotive experience is mainly with brakes and tires, but this was an easy job for me to do myself.If you've got a Chevy Cobalt Coupe and want some better looking tail lights, get these.
