Great for keeping kids physically active indoors during cold or wet weather.They easily enjoy making paths from room to room and trying to get through the path as quickly as possible.These foster creativity, balance, fitness, competition, and fun.Strong enough for most adults and not slippery when barefoot or wearing sneakers.Base doesn't easily slip on hardwood floor.Storage is great as they nest into a single stack and are easy to wipe clean if needed.Looking forward to trying these outside in the spring.Great value. Kid recommended.

There are so many different things that kids can do with this set if they use their imagination. The spinner allows them to follow directions and problem solve how to get to the next color spun. They can set up an obstacle course for each other . . . pretend the floor is lava . . . So many options!

These stepping stones are sturdy, vibrant, and slip-resistant, making them perfect for creating obstacle courses indoors or outside. They stack easily for storage and promote balance and coordination in a really fun way. I highly recommend them for preschoolers, therapists, or just energetic kiddos who need to move and climb!

This is a well-made set that features 12 steppingstones and a simple color spinnerThe 12 stones are made up of 4 large ones (11x11") and 8 small ones (8.5x8.5"). This is a good number of stones for a challenging game. The stones are made from heavy plastic that we've tested with a 200 -pound person. Each stone features a silicone rim on the bottom that keeps the stones in place especially on smooth surfaces. The rim is held in place very securely.Using the spinner the game starts with spreading the steppingstones across a flat surface. If you've played the game Twister, this as a similar concept. You do have to keep the stones within jumping range of the players. And you do need to distribute the stones, so the colors are spread out. You wouldn't want all the orange stones placed out of reach from the other colors. For our first games we kept things close.You start standing to the side and off of the stones. Spin the arrow to select a color. Step on that color. Do that for each of the players. Keep spinning the arrow and moving around the stones until you can't, or you fall off.If you don't want to use the spinner you can lay out a course across the floor - maybe between rooms. Colors in this game don't matter. You just have to settle on a safe end and start point for the course. Then you hop across the stones from start to finish. As you get better you make the course more challenging. For us this simple game is the most fun especially for young kidsThis is a fun set of steppingstones. The set includes a good number of stones of 2 sizes. The stones are strong and can support considerable weight. And they are kept in place on the floor using a tacky silicone base. The stones can be used indoors or out, and they are weather resistant.This is a nice toy for young kids. But adults can also get into the game. The stones are very strong. The playing fields are easy to lay out. And the game can be as simple as jumping from one stone to the other - don't fall into the Lava. The price for this set is not inexpensive, but it offers superior materials and strength. This is a toy that can last as your children get bigger. I would recommend it.

I've been wanting to get something like this for a long while because it seems fun for an active young child!Pros:1. These do not move around on our slipper hardwood floor. Well, at least not when you're on top of them. The kids may still be able to kick or nudge them when they're super hyper.2. Bright and fun colors.3. Different heights. Unfortunately, though, these only have two different heights (I wish there were more varieties). There are 12 stepping stones total: 7 of the shorter pieces and 5 of the taller pieces.Cons:1. Very small stepping area. I've attached a picture of what my foot looks like on top of one of the stones (they're all similar surface area for the lower and higher stepping stones). For reference, I wear size 8 women shoes. I cannot comfortably put my feet on top of one stone while I wait for kids to take their turns. Young kids with big feet may also find it challenging.2. The description states that it can support up to 220lbs. Although that may be the case, I can feel the shorter stone bend inward when I stand on it (I weigh 115lb). I haven't stood on it long enough to make it concave in permanently, but this might be something to take into account if you have bulkier kids (especially if they like to jump on it).The set comes with 2 pair of non-slip socks. One pair for those around 4-5 years olds. The other pair probably more for kids around 7-8 years old.The pictures show the size of the top of the stones in comparison to these socks. I guess, in a way, having the small surface area helps to encourage them how to balance / tip toe more. It may make them more agile, alert, and learn to better control their movements / bodies. It might just make bigger grown ups a bit less enthusiastic about joining in on the fun with the kids.Nonetheless, we greatly appreciate the sturdiness and stability of these stepping stones. They're fun to play with (even as grown ups)!
