Best thing I’ve bought in awhile, get for when I go to festivals. Very durable

This seat stick is functional. As others have noted, it requires skill to balance, and it is intended for use on ground, not hard floors. Machining is imprecise: Note the lack of symmetry in the photo. Consequently, the hinge movement was very tight, but some lubricant helped. Alignment of the set screw with holes in the leg requires careful attention and would have been aided by recessing the holes. But for the price, the product is acceptable.

I bought this on my account at the request of a Cousin from Ireland who was visiting. She loves it as she is a huge Golf Fan & now in her 70’s so now she has a dual walking stick & seat. Simple ? YES

Needs a lot of 3n1 oil to get the seat to flex initially as it is not machined well. You have to be able to balance or you'll go over quickly. It would be nice if it had a rubber boot for walking on pavement or hard roads.

I purchased Hornungs Combo Spectator Seat-Stick to take with me on walks where because of physical challenges I would need to sit for a while. Since I purchased item I have not had the opportunity to use nit and was intending to sell it. Prior to selling it I thought I should try the seat function, I opened seat and upon trying to sit I fell over backwards, going flat on my back and hitting my head. I am 75 years old and pretty unfit. Luckily I had a companion on hand to assist me. I think potential puchasers should be warned of seat's instability

Bought it because i walk the links. Ever find yourself behind a drunken, ettiquetteless foursome on a "cart path only" day where what could have been a 3 1/4 hr round of walking slowly and painfully turned into a 5 1/2 hour round of standing? Then this might be your new best friend. Fits great in the bag's umbrella slot and deploys/packs up in seconds - literally. It did arrive looking a bit shoddy, but after a few uses, the construction seems sound. I did shoot a bit of WD in the joints to free them up a bit. Ive read alot of these reviews and hey, these arent designed for long term use - its meant to get u off your feet for a few and continue on ur trek. Slender or obese, the seat is narrow and handles will likely impact comfort, but again far better than the alternative; and if they made it wider, it would probably cease serving well as a cain with portability hindered. Try straddling it if its that bothersome, works that way too! Its an equestrian/ golf device for sure, meant to be anchored in grass/dirt, so a rubber sole would not be advantageous as some have pointed out. Adults will fit fine if you are not obese; saw one review where a person said it wont fit a normal adult, not true, im normal BMI, (check urself agaist BMI standards, 5'9"/10 @ 190 lbs is not normal, its overweight, borderlining obesity). I also like it because it is low profile and aerates the fairway ;) without leaving a trace. Just keep it off the teebox and greens.

I saw a more expensive version of this at a golf tournament, but didn't want to spend $100+, so searched on Amazon for similar product. I used the seat for the first time today, following a golf tournament. What a difference having a seat makes! This is just as sturdy and good looking as the expensive versions, at a third of the cost. Just make sure to be careful the first time or two that you sit, until you get the hang of it. Since it only has the one leg, if you lean, it leans too. After a couple of tries, no problems whatsoever! This really gave my knees, ankles, and feet a break after 6 miles and 5 hours of walking. I rigged up a strap that I could use to put this over my shoulder when walking, since I was also carrying a water bottle and an umbrella for the sun. Wish I had found this years ago!

I was looking for one of these and Amazon had it. Hurray for Amazon! I haven't tried it in the yard yet, but I'm sure it will work just fine. I sat on it inside and it felt good, except I used it it lengthwise ( my hips are a little wider than the seat's width) the lengthwise position seems to give more support as it wraps itself to your body back and front. I'm only 4'11" and at the shortest position, I am comfortable. I also use it as a cane. The seat folds up and it has a nice snap button strap to hold it closed. You would be happy with this seat!
