Did not come with gaskets. It is smaller around the bottom than my original. How will the decreased volume affect the amount of charge?

I installed this accumulator, and could not get it to seal. It looked identical to the original, but something wasn't right. I put the original one back on, and it sealed right up. Held a vacuum for over 45 minutes. However I must say Amazon has been real good with me on customer service on this thing so far. Here is hoping they continue it through the return process. would of had them just replace it, but couldn't really see what the issue was. I'm guessing it was the gap between the hoses and accumulator were too far apart for the seals to work properly. Besides the whole "if we don't get your return in time we will charge your account for both accumulators" kind of intimidated me. This whole thing really sucks, this is the middle of July, and still no air! Amazon is a great business and I will continue to patronize them on everything but automotive parts. It's just too much of a hassle when something goes wrong, and you need the part yesterday. It may cost more to buy off your local parts dealer, but at least you can return it right away and get a replacement.
