As everyone says.flanges are too small.clamps are garbage.For that reason alone this product is garbage Total waste of time...thought I had it...leaked.retried...for hours.Zero stars.

Product looks like someone previously attempted an install. Will attempt to install it today.. not very hopeful. Foam missing from two sides; some of the fins damaged.

This heater core is garbage clamps are soft and don't secure anything doesn't fit opening well clamps are too small to fit every review says it all if I could give it no stars I would I've had years of experience working in a shop and have done tons of heater cores this is the worst product I have ever seen !

What looked like a good deal ended up having me frantically calling VW dealerships for an OEM heatercore before I had work that night! complete waste of time and money. The hardware this product comes with does not securely fit the flanges if at all! I would not trust this thing in your vehicle. I had to hammer it in with a rubber mallet to get it to fit. Only realizing it was gonna work I had to yank it out with pliers damaging the flanges!

Garbage. The flanges are not he right size and the clamps that come with it are too big and you cannot connect it to your coolant system without jury-rigging

Did not fit. Super tight fit into the heater core slot. The pipes don't line up. Clamps are thin and don't work very well.

the heater core fit perfectly in my 2013 jetta. the problem is the hose connectors are HORRIBLE. looked like the inlet ports were slightly bent making it extremely hard to line up the hose, if not absolutely perfect it will not connect correctly. after spending way more time then needed to connect them, i was finally able to get it to correctly attach.

Currently in the process of returning this junk even though I read all the horrible reviews I couldn’t afford $200 for a oem Vw core so there exactly right on all the other reviews the new clamps will not fit and the oem clamps will not fit the aftermarket core and not just the clamps the unit it’s self does not fit in the heater box without extreme Force it is slightly taller than the oem one I ended up pulling back out and using acid to clean my oem one and reinstall it so I currently have hot heat again and only cost me $10 and some labor I will never buy a product from this manufacture again !!

Poor fit - pipes don’t line up well. Provided clamps don’t fit well, factory ones won’t work anymore. Can’t use factory o rings either. I somehow made it work but it wasn’t straight forward and I have fear of the pipes leaking later on down the road.

Fits. Works. But you have to change to o-rings, and the clamps that come with it suck, and you have to use them.
