This setup allows you to attach a 3 inch clamp-on air filter or a 3 inch diameter tube directly to the stock mass air sensor. This adapter is constructed with a combination of aluminum and co-polymer ABS components for a great look that is durable. The adapter’s flange has a 3-3/8 inch by 2-3/7 inch bolt hole setup for multiple bolt hole configurations.

Put on 1995 BMW 3 series and the over all idea fits well but the tube is so large the nuts do not fit back on. Had to buy different nuts and spacers to bolt it on

This item said that it fit my 1990 Mazda Miata, but this was just a flat out lie. This item didn’t even fit close to what it said it did and I therefore had to drill holes, and even after that the bolts would just not go on. This product lies and cost me a good adapter when I could’ve bought a better one I instead wasted my money on this

In the search to find parts to work, this adapter bolted up to the maf to allow a reusable air filter. The parts had markings where the hole should have been, so I believe they forgot to drill this one by the photos. I drilled them and this fit perfectly on a 7mge

Works great on my SR20DET, when I swapped it to an HPI filter on a stock MAF. Did have to Dremel one of the holes out a little bit it works great.

This was used to install a K&N performance air filter to a 2000 Nissan Maxima GLE (3.0 V6)It is really good material and quality, I used bolts plus self tapping screws to hold it on, and the filter was able to go on with no problem, beware, to get the MAF sensor to get you may need to bore it out a little, I took a box cutter blade and bored it out a bunch of times just to get it to fit, but it fits nice and snug and I would most definitely buy again

As others have mentioned, the 4 "inner" holes (which are necessary for adapting to the AFM on 90-93 Miata) were not drilled on the item I received. There were some divots to mark where the holes could be drilled, but 1 of them was not quite in the right place. Still, it was easy enough to drill as needed; just annoying about having to. Also as others have mentioned, when using the inner holes, there's not much room for a nut or bolt, but given the size/shape of the square inlet to the AFM on 90-93 Miatas, there's not much alternative without adding substantial cost to the manufacturing of the item. Additionally, the metal is a very soft aluminum so the item may not hold up to much abuse, but hopefully abuse won't be an issue once mounted.Summary: Not an ideal shape/fit and it requires some DIY, but that's not outrageous for an item this inexpensive. It's OK, but not great.

the holes did not match up but i did not honestly expect them to. the metal was easy enough to drill holes trough the only problem is you'll have to consider the mounting bolts (on my car Lexus gs300 it was part of the plastic piece that holds the old air filter and does not come off) but luckily i had spare and you can just go to local parts stores to mount it. i used this with an AEM dryflow filter (the long one, 9 inches and fit fine). i did like the hole with rubber grommets for those who can utilize it.the only negative thing i can think of is the opening is round and on the mas housing it is rectangle so there is a slight reduction of air coming into the intake - but it shouldn't really make a difference the filter i put on should make up for any loss over the stock system. and the plastic spacer was useless on my application but may be useful in others (with a smalle mas)+so do not forget: 1 drill, 4 nuts + bolts, filter with worm clamp or better clamp.
