I give this cold air intake a 5/5 as i have no complaints about it what so ever. If you have half a brain it is super easy to install. I installed this on my 2007.5 Chevy Silverado 5.3L in about 20mins & it really makes a difference. Havent noticed to much of a millage difference. It really adds a nice growl to the truck.

Installation was a little bit of an issue. Highly recommend downloading the instructions from the manufacturer. The image quality is a lot higher. There is potentially a small issue with the height of the cold box+the rubber seal. take your time and fit everything as you go.

4 out of 5 because installation was easy, however quality of the airbox housing is bit flimsy. Does the job, take care during install.

Fits perfect on 07-13 tahoe. Not noisy at all. You will feel a gain in performance a mpg if you dont have a heavy foot. Made well

First off it looks great and you can feel a difference in power. But on my 2008 Cadillac Escalade the heat shield pushes up my hood when the weather stripping is in place. Ill have to trim it down if i want to use the weather stripping. Other than that, install is pretty straight forward and comes with surprisingly detailed instructions.

Product is exactly what I paid for , I feel a power difference , but I didn't dyno test so I can't give accurate numbers . Very easy to install , I'm no mechanic and it only took me 35 mins to install. Only wish I had purchased the red filter instead of the blue thing the red looks better

2007 Tahoe 5.3 Spectre Intake. I like it. Seems to give more umphhh off the line and when kicking in the secondary. As far as mileage....no better, no worse on the street at 12.3mpg but highway increases to 15.4mpg. The best part about it is the throaty sound I get from the exhaust. The pic below represents how the intake sits under the hood of the Tahoe. I had it installed by a pro for 25 bucks. It was worth the 25 bucks because after installation, he reset the computer, which wasn't mentioned in the instructions. Think it was a matter of unhooking the battery and reconnecting it.

Start out with parts that need to be bent to fit correctly, unclear, non descriptive instructions, and a meh quality of product. threads started to strip out of "velocity stack adapter" with barely any force applied, during 24hr check up to see if everything was still tight and working, one of the coupler screws just snapped off. I won't be spending money on Spectre products again, I'll shell out an extra 50-100 bucks and get something without the hassle and higher quality. Intake works well enough, adds a somewhat throaty sound to the higher RPMS and so far has shown some increase in MPGs

First shipment was missing a couple items. Customer service was outstanding and I received a replacement package that next day! As advertised, intake looks and sounds great on my 08 Suburban! Definitely notice throttle response, we will see about gas mileage!
