Wasn’t a exact fitment. Had to adjust and move the heat shield. The rubber protector around the heat shield wasn’t long enough could of been about a foot longer. Need to get a throttle adapter.

Fits nice, looks even better. However as soon as I put it on my truck started throwing lean codes out of its ass. Rough starts every time. Also I noticed increased throttle response and different sound. The K&N cold air intake doesn’t throw those codes. Wondering if it’s crappy manufacturing

My stock intake cracked and I had been sucking dirt and dust into the throttle body of my engine. Decided to order this based on a few reviews versus replacing the Chevrolet Resonator as this was actually cheaper. There are a few reviews out there that say it’s not worth the purchase because you don’t see peak HP or TQ gains. However, every dyno source I found showed a significant increase in low to medium range TQ and HP curves. That’s where I run my truck, and to me that’s worth the price.After install I notice improved throttle responsiveness and definitely noticed a low end torque increase. Looking forward to towing the camper and seeing if it makes a difference.

I installed the heat shield first. No problem closing the hood.Installed the pipe ,with the baffle ,for the mass air flow sensor .No check engine light.Good low end ,and descent high end torque. Fuel mileage still the same .The truck weighs about 7500 lbs,and a 7.5 lift .Only reason 4.5 star ,is those cheap chines clamps. No worry's ,I work for a Cat dealer ship .We have good clamps.

Installed on my 2010 GMC Sierra SLT crew cab 5'-8" bed within 30 minutes of receiving it. As for the claims to better MPG's I'm not sold at all but the increased response in the bottom end is vastly noticeable. I've had three 5.3 sierras. This is my first with a six speed trans and I hated all the downshifting on the highway from 6th to 5th sometimes even 4th...!?!? This really seemed to let the motor not suffocate itself at highway cruising speed. I miss the hell out of all my four speeds because the final rear end drive ratio but this CAI definitely livens your low end torque a couple notches. An absolute must have if you tow anything. Makes getting up to thirty with a huge load a lot smoother.

Put this on a 2010 silverado 1500. Fit up perfectly, only problem I had was that the vacuum line didn't come with clamps so I had to go buy some which is why I say 4 stars. Other than that it's a great product for the price.

I bought this item over a year ago and the filter assembly has rusted so bad that the filter needs to be replaced. I expected the metal mesh on the filter to hold up, especially because I put 5000 miles on the truck last year.

Love this intake, took about an hour to install and everything fits and works better than expected. Great information for install on instruction manual but blurry pictures. I was still able to correctly install without youtube,and this was my first time installing an intake. AWESOME addition and you can really tell the improvements when you step on it, makes your truck rumble much louder and sound throatier. Highly suggest and a great price that shipped to me in two days 10/10

I got this put on my truck Saturday in about 2.5 to 3 hours the instructions were ok and the reference pictures are a little hard to see being in black and white, there are some You Tube video's of similar products that helped me with my install that I recommend watching during your install, but once I got it all installed it sounds and runs great. I could tell right away it had a little more punch and quicker response on the throttle, I would recommend this to anyone trying to improve the performance of their truck and it's half the price of K&N

Got this item in a single day was amazed at the speed of shipment. Installed it in about 45 minutes and it fit like a glove on my 2013 GMC Sierra 1500 Crew Cab 4x4! Looks awesome and sounds great, I ordered the blue colored filter to match the color of my truck, is a great custom touch to my Tuscany custom lifted GMC. With this addition the truck is just the way I want it! Had no problem what so ever in fitment of the 6.2L engine so for those that need that info there ya go, and at half the cost of a K&N or Airaid I'm just that more jazzed with this purchase!
