I needed something to hold paper napkins that would not fall over and that looked good. You could use this as a piece of sculpture, it is so well designed.It also does the job well!

This is a sturdy napkin holder. If you keep it mostly full, the napkins stand up. It looks like brushed nickel which is what I was looking for.

We were looking for a unique napkin holder that felt well made and this fits that bill perfectly. It feels heavy and solid. Two words of caution - 1. It has somewhat of an "industrial" feel (which we like) but some were unhappy about the imperfect finish. 2. You are holding paper in a vertical position, so they are naturally going to want to fall over, fall out etc and it only works with medium sized napkins. We have had better luck either keeping it full or placing the napkins inside the hole horizontally rather than vertically. A small price to pay for a really cool looking stand!

We are moving soon, and we needed a new napkin holder to go with our new kitchen. After looking at MANY different products, both in stores and online, I finally settled on this one by Spectrum for two reasons: 1) it matched a which we happened to already own, and 2) the brushed nickel finish matched the stainless hardware and appliances in our new kitchen.Although we haven't yet moved, we have already started using this napkin holder, and we love it! It has a solid, weighty base that sits securely on our table. Although it is currently just holding plain white napkins, it looks very fresh and modern, even in our old kitchen. This is simply a well-made product that adds a nice accent to any modern kitchen, and I definitely recommend it.
