Easy to install and seems to work well. My only critique is the mounting plate is very flimsy!! Mounting to a round box, the back plate flexes a lot! Making it very difficult to secure it properly. Also had both of the two tiny tabs that lock the light unit to the backer plate brake on one unit with very little force. The tabs are very short and have to flex a good deal to clear their catches. Would be better if they had a screw instead of the tabs. All in all, good but definitely handle with care!

This emergency light is very simple in design and some might call it cheap feeling. However, for the price, I think this light fulfills its purpose beautifully. For example, the mainboard is locked in place by tabs in the side walls. In order to remove the board to feed wires under it (such as when replacing the battery) you simple flex the side walls outward and pull up the board. So simple, yet so effective. The entire unit is light enough that hanging in drywall should not be a problem. The amount of illumination is a perfect balance between safety and battery life. The only warning I would give is to be gentle with the swiveling light heads. Be sure to look under the lights to make sure you are attempting to move the head in a direction it is willing go. All in all, a great deal on an emergency light that simply works.

I charged it overnight. When I unplugged it it stayed on for 3 and a half hours before going dead. Since its a nickel cadmium battery it’s ok for it to go dead. Not like the old style lead acid batteries. This is the wave of the future. It’s to bad it has to be wall mounted

A well made emergency light. No problem installing. Looks like it will last a long time. But.....I broke the first one when removing the back which is necessary for installation. I guessed wrong on how to open the two bottom plastic tabs and broke both. A second fixture was not damaged but my opening process was prolonged and probably not what the designer expected. A short note on the instruction sheet would be helpful.

These were just what I was looking to buy. Once I removed the old lights these went right in place. They were easy to wire and easy to mount on the wall. I would recommend this product.
