Picked this up to add advanced radio features to an older car that I prefer to keep stock. This standalone display comes with a couple of mounting options as well as things like a backup camera and handsfree mic. I only used the actual unit itself as I do not need the backup camera or the handsfree calling.I used the suction cup arm for mounting as this will only be in the car when needed. The arm as angle and length adjustments which should help it work in just about any car. Since the car it is going in is an older car it does not have an AUX input for audio, so I used the FM transmitter for sound output through the car stereo. Sound quality will depend on how much "space" there is around the empty frequency you use. For me, it is more than acceptable. Screen response is quick and it is quick to connect once on. No complaints on functionality.I wish Amazon allowed 1/2 star increments. I need to dock it one star for what would be the more permanent mount. You can use double sided tape (included) or 4 screws/bolts (not included). The reason for docking 1 star is that the mount does not allow for rotational movement of the display. If your dash is slanted, your display will be slanted. You can rotate it on the plane that is your dash, but you cannot account for a slant for the display.Other than that issue, it's a great looking and very functional option to add navigation and streaming music.

This is the perfect way to upgrade your older model vehicle and tackle that FOMO you have from not having CarPlay or android auto. It’s so easy to install and use. Honestly it feels like a steal for $65 compared to some other models that are double the price. I love the backupcam feature and was totally surprised by the quality of the camera.

"I am absolutely blown away by this car screen! The installation was a breeze, and the interface is incredibly intuitive. The display is crisp and clear, with vibrant colors that make navigating through maps and menus a joy.The Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration is seamless, allowing me to access all my favorite apps and features on the go. The responsiveness is lightning-fast, with no lag or delays. The screen's touchscreen functionality is also impressively sensitive, making it easy to tap, swipe, and pinch my way through different screens.

I have a 2009 and haven’t really been able to figure out how to make this work in my car yet. It’s a great idea and it’s definitely worth the price. The quality seems nice but the ease of installment not so much.

Altogether I think this only took about an hour to install and it was an absolute breeze! I have an older 2009 model truck that doesn't have any of the fancy features, so adding this in was great! Having the backup camera tie in to the reverse light wiring was a great idea, even if it adds a slight bit of complexity to the installation, it's still very manageable.I love having Android Auto in my car now! It's awesome to not have to look down at my phone all the time when I'm using GPS anymore. Having that back up camera that auto engages when shifting into reverse is really nice too, I have one on my other car, and having one on my older car now is really great!Overall this is simple to setup, easy to use, and brings an older car to todays standards without much effort.

This device is just what I’ve been looking for and easier than buying and installing a new stereo head unit, which believe me, that is no walk in the park. The hardest thing I had with this install was picking the optimal placement where it was in reach and out of my eyeline with the majority of my view of the road. It has access to my apps on my phone that are CarPlay compatible and there are more than enough of those. My old car stereo relied on Sirius satellite for upgrading and maps and other silly crap. This gives me freedom to use my phone in full in order to get updated maps, music apps and more. Bluetooth, Aux, USB c power and a backup cam. The cam is the worst feature since my car has one but if yours doesn’t then this will be good because it is also tuneable so you can position your reverse camera onscreen guide lines.no drilling required as there is an adhesive pad for all of the attachments so don’t throw out that weird sticky feeling cardboard trapezoid because your gonna probably need it. I took a photo from my eye level in the driver seat and you can see it is mounted mostly out of the way of view in my Buick Verano. My biggest issue is that the instructions do not cover the reverse camera install and what the red wire connects to. What does it connect to?? There is a TF card slot in the rear bottom of the screen but the upgraded kit doesn’t come with one already. The upgrade kit does come with all the other supplies to mount the screen except for something to help hide all the cords coming out. When I did an install on the jeep I had, the lines were able to be tucked away in the creases of the console equipment. If you need CarPlay but don’t want to mess with paying for and installing a new head unit, this should offer everything you need. The screen is dimmable so it is t too bright in the dark and you can even use a voice command to turn the screen off or on.
