I bought this speed sensor in May 24 and just installed it. First time out with the new speed sensor…… When I accelerate, the needle drops. When I go to consistent speed, it will finally display the accurate speed. Judging by all of the similar reviews, the company keeps KNOWINGLY selling junk.

I couldn't find a Honda one, and the factory ones aren't that great to begin with (hence the purchase). 3 months in and it's working fine and didn't leak.

I had an issue with the first speed sensor I ordered (it was just faulty no big deal)Customer service went above and beyond and completely exceeded my expectations and sent me a new speed sensor overnight so I installed it on my lunch break and it was in perfect working order, speed is only 3 - 5 mph off of what I’m really going but that’s to be expected.I’ve been using these people for majority of my motorcycle parts and their Customer service is by for one of the best I’ve dealt with here on Amazon!

Sometimes it works and then nothing. “O” ring too small for the application and leaked oil. Will return it and try again. On the positive side, is OEM exact fit (except of "O" ring).

This sensor fit werry well and change is siple. BUT in high speed and accelerating speed on speedometer dropping down. At speed 80mph and up... Dont know if its just one scrap or didnt fit as well as i want. Vtx 1800 R (2003)

This sensor is cheaply made and did not function past 60 mph. Buy factory parts. Would not recomend purchasing this junk item.

The speed sensor was a direct replacement for my Honda VTX 1800 at more than half the cost from dealer. It is a real P.I.T.A. to change though, especially for someone with big hands and fingers. Always make sure the wires are pointed downward when mounted.
