This boxed set is like a sample pack or starter kit if you’re wanting to dabble in screen printing and are looking for something beyond your basic red, yellow and blue.The jars are small, only 4 ounces, so don’t expect to do a ton of printing with them, but enough to get a feel for them.The colors you get are black, silver and hot pink, plus some puff additive to make your inks puff up after printing.

I don't have anything to make silk screens, but I was using a new gel plate today and thought that this paint would work. I didn't try using the puffy paint as I wasn't sure how it would work with a gel plate. I was happy with the results I got and especially really liked the pink color. I did realize that I really don't like a lot of black in my work. I like pastels and more subtle colors and will try them next time. I did enjoy using this paint though.I appreciate the opportunity to try out these paints. Thank you.

This is a nice starter set of Speedball inks- I especially njoyed experimenting with both the iridescent and "puff" paints although if you are expecting results that exceed expectations, you will be disappointed- both still appear mostly matte and sort of "flat". That being said, I enjoyed using these and will continue to use them.

Speedball is the way to go when you're starting out a new hobby. All of their supplies are so great for a beginner's budget and allows for experimentation. These are different from normal screen printing inks, as this pack includes an iridescent ink, florescent ink, and a puff additive.

Speedball is the premier brand in block or screen printing ink. This pack of 3 colors plus the puffing additive are well worth the money. Each jar is enough ink for several projects by itself. The colors are vibrant, solid and last forever. My only wish is it came with another color instead of the additive. Just a personal preference. Honestly, Speedball is the way to go.

The colors provided are really cute, and the fluorescent is really very fluorescent. The inks themselves work well and are decently opaque, but as with any water-based ink, you'll need multiple layers to get it opaque on a dark color.The only reason I can't give this 5 stars is the puff additive is lackluster. The effect is very mild, and it seems to work really unevenly. Maybe I need to play with it some more to figure it out, but even as someone who's done a lot of screen printing, I'm having issues.

Speedball is one of my trusted, go-to brands for screen printing supplies. This worked well with my screens on canvas bags and teeshirts. This was the first time I used puffy additive, and I was happy that it worked well. It added a nice dimension to my prints.
