I purchased this gasket kit for a 302 I purchased new heads and took the engine and gasket set to a reputable engine rebuild shop. When I got it back and filled the engine with fluids coolant was dripping between the block and heads. I checked the torque on all the head bolts and they were to spec. I pulled the heads and noticed that the metal rim that goes around each piston holes was thicker than the gasket even after being compressed. I used a micrometer and found that ring .008” thicker than the gasket. I replaced the head gaskets with FelPro and have no leaks

Everything except the oil pan gasket fit for my 1980 Ford 302 windsor truck engine. I knew that when purchasing though. Highly recommend not using the head gaskets, however for the other gaskets at this price it is worth it.

These are good quality gaskets. Ive never seen a set of intake gaskets quite that thick but they did the job!
