Having recently been forced to use a plastic toy ball as a darning egg, I was excited to see this kit on offer. It combines all the equipment needed for many darning projects. I lost my sewing kit, and I didn't have any enthusiasm for recreating it, so pre-curated kits have been a life-saver for me. This is one of the best. The comb is a cheap one, with plastic tines. It is labeled as a pet comb but would never hold up for that purpose. It will do temporarily for darning, although I will likely replace it eventually. The latch hook has no handle, but will do. The supplies included are handy and of good enough quality for informal or utility repairs. I would recommend it.
