You can wear it on the included cord if you want, but it's slightly heavy for that.Part of why it's heavier than average is because it runs on a AA battery, not a tiny little button cell which dies quickly.It's perfect for leaving on a desk with the wire stand holding it up so you can keep an eye on it while your hands are busy.The numbers are larger than many other models, but not stretched into a tall skinny shape. Just normal shaped digits made as large as is reasonable for the width.
