I love how easy it is to connect to the string, but it only lasted about a month and a half the pin fell out and my trigger came off causing me to miss shoot an arrow. I’m just glad I didn’t get hurt.

SPG Bow Release for Compound Bow - A Mixed BagI recently tried the SPG Bow Release for my compound bow, and while it technically gets the job done, I found it to be lacking in comfort and overall quality, which ultimately left me feeling underwhelmed.Starting with the positive aspects, the adjustable design and 360° rotating wrist strap are definitely noteworthy. This feature provided some versatility, allowing for a decent range of motion when drawing the bow. The hook trigger is responsive, which I appreciated during practice sessions, ensuring that I could make quick and accurate shots. However, comfort is where this release falls short. The material feels cheap and is rough against the skin, which detracted from the overall experience. I can't help but think that a leather option would not only elevate the comfort level but also contribute to a more premium feel. After extended use, my wrist and fingers felt irritated, making it difficult to focus on my shooting form.Additionally, while the adjustable nature of the release is a plus, the construction feels flimsy. I worry about its long-term durability, especially when it comes to a piece of equipment that is supposed to enhance shooting performance. In summary, the SPG Bow Release is functional enough for the casual archer or beginner, but serious shooters looking for a comfortable and reliable release aid might want to explore other options. With a re-design that prioritizes better materials and ergonomic comfort, this product could truly shine. For now, though, it remains just an average choice that I am not completely in love with.

First the wrist strap is cheap vinyl. It isn't leather and there isn't any protection from the buckle. It bites into your wrist when you shoot.Second the swivle head is way too lose. There isn't a way to tighten it up either.Third the trigger tension spring will shoot out on its own if you tighten it down.I'll be returning this one and looking for something else. It's so sloppy I'm afraid it'll come apart when drawing.
