This is the part you need when converting an old Chrysler Ball and Trunnion driveline to U joints. I have used them on a '56 Plymouth and a '42 WC-48. This is the smaller of the two sizes, used on the older cars and lower powered cars in the 60's. This is a part that some driveline shops don't carry or even know about if they normally deal with more modern vehicles.

Fits Dodge 904 Trans, 60's A body for making a drive shaft to eliminate the Ball and Trinion. You will need Spicer 2-40-1711 Tube Shaft and Spicer 2-3-8001KX Slip Yoke, 1310 series which is the stock u joints. This tube shaft fits on the tapered part of the drive shaft. If your cutting your drive shaft the 2.26" to fit in a 8 3/4, order the larger tube shaft to fit the larger diameter of your drive shaft. Same gear end.
