Seen like great quality compared to autozone

Quality U-joint at a decent price.

I had the same experience as another reviewer.I've ordered and installed a lot of Spicer U joints over the years, and never had an issue. I generally regard them as a quality product. For whatever reason however, immediately after install of these joints in my 2003 sequoia, I got a serious vibration from the driveshaft. At 70mph you couldn't see out of the rear view mirror because of it.I even took the driveshaft out and had it balanced with these joints in it and it still vibrated, no idea why.Today, after just a couple months of use, I pulled these out and put in a pair of OEM Toyota units and the vibration is gone.

First one I ordered came in spicer packaging and installed pretty easily. Not too different from the OEM Toyota joint. Next one I ordered came in white generic packaging and is actually manufactured by neapco. It doesn’t look like it will actually work based on the snap ring channels. It came with some really thin snap rings so maybe it will work with only half the channel exposed but I didn’t want to go through the trouble of installing it to find out I have to take it back apart.

Installed on rear U-join Tacoma Prerunner v6, fixed shaking issue. 👌

I can't comment on Durability since I just installed these on my vehicle, but so far so good.I like that they come with a zerk fitting.

Outstanding quality oem. If your reading this than you looking at purchasing a Spicer ujoint. Spicer is top notch quality. Oem car and truck manufacturers use them all the time. The people who are leaving bad reviews are the ones who installed them improperly or who are just plain stupid. They fit great no issues

These U-joint didn't even last a month on my '01 Sequoia (4WD). I wasn't having any u-joint issue previously, I wanted to install these as a preventative measure since mine looked original at 360k miles. These joints ended up giving me way more drivability issues than I had before.I used these on the rear driveshaft, and the install was a huge pain, as always with U-joints. Each U-joint fought me every press of the way in, but once installed everything seemed to articulate smoothly. One glaring issue was 2 out of 4 of the caps stuck out about a little less than a quarter of an inch (1/4). This happened on both ends of the driveshaft. They we're certainly fully seated, I checked multiple times and that was their resting spot. I decided to ignore this and figured it wasn't a big deal, but I was completely wrongThe first drive on the freeway was super disappointing. Any speed of 70mph caused an awful vibration and oscillation in the driveshaft. In Texas, some freeways have a speed limit of 75mph so vibration became a huge annoyance anytime I had to take long trips.I couldn't take it any longer and the vibrations pretty much solidified to me that these were JUNK and causing more problems than I had before. I ended up buying OEM joints ($50 bucks more than these) and uninstalling these joints for Toyota OEM's. The OEM caps slide into the yokes almost by hand, and we're very easy to install and didn't poke out of the yoke like these Spicer joints did.What I assume what went wrong with these joints are a couple of things. For one, they just seem cheap and have poor machining qualities. The caps we're very tight and put up a fight getting into the yoke. The finish of the trunnion was pretty chewed up when I uninstalled these and the grease was black and smelled burnt. Mind you, I put in fresh lithium based grease upon installation as per the manufacture recommendation on the packaging, so I wasn't running these dry.The next reason I think these joints are a big issue, and why I'm sure they cause vibrations, was the end caps are longer than what Toyota has specified. I believe 2/4 of the end caps sticking out of my driveshaft, as mentioned previously, we're causing a sort of "extra weight" situation as they we're the lowest point of the driveshaft, poking out well past the balancing weights. I believe this isn't that big of an issue till you start reaching speeds upwards of 70mph, then that extra weight hanging off the end of the driveshaft yokes could possibly be causing some unbalancing and oscillation in the driveshaft. This was very noticeable in the rear of the vehicle and could easily be heard below you. Doesn't give much confidence for freeway driving.FYI, Spicer is not the OEM joint manufacture for rear drive shaft u-joints on a 1st gen Sequoia. I can confirm Spicer is the OEM manufacture of the front driveshaft u-joints, but certainly not the rear. I don't think all Spicer products are junk either, but these simply did not work for my application (01 Sequoia 4WD) and I would not recommend theseAll in all, if you've made this far in the review, do yourself a favor and buy OEM joints. Saving $50 bucks for the headache these cause is not worth it. The labor involved to change u-joint twice is not worth it. These joints get a 2 star rating for at least being able to last a month and not destory my undercarriage

I ordered 2 and one came without a hole for the grease nipple.Good fit though.
