Finding gifts without batteries or screens is HARD. I'm proud to say these have been used daily for months and are adored, requested and still look brand new. I say requested because we literally had a family following us in a store and asking what it was cause the kids were so intrigued. Take them anywhere, it's a great time waster and requires creativity and focus.

Dies war ein Geschenk zum Geburtstag für unseren 6 Jährigen Sohn. Klar, einen wirklichen Sinn hat der Flow Ring nicht, aber er ist schon Recht fesselnd für Jung und Alt. Sehr stabil, auch wenn die Einjährige es in die Hände bekommt, passiert nichts. Auch die Aufbewahrungstasche ist sehr schön.

This is a fun little fidget toy that can distract you or keep you occupied in short bursts for when you have some waiting to do, are anxious, or just want to get lost in thought for a few minutes. It's about as robust as a slinky and I estimate that it wouldn't stand up to too much rough handling such as with a very young child, though with a careful and quiet child I can see it both occupying their minds and satisfying a need for visual and tactile stimulation for quite some time. I'm shocked it took me this long to discover this particular toy. A must-have classic style toy that is simple and elegant and should have a place in every kid's childhood right next to the yo-yo and slinky.

My boys LOVE these. When they got home from school, I had them close their eyes and put their hand out. I gently laid a flattened one on each child's hands. Then, had them open their eyes. There was a moment of confusion/disappointment and then I told them to gently bounce their hand up and the rings popped into life! Their eyes got wider, and I showed them how to use them. They played with them quite a while. My boys have a connective tissue disorder, so the graceful movements this toy had them doing is actually great therapy for their joints. They exceeded my expectations!

I feel a bit repetitive saying how cool this item is. I saw them initially on a deals website, and decided to check them out here on Amazon. I only purchased one initially, and decided to get more. It is a really neat toy. I spent about 30 minutes playing with it the first night, and my husband than took it from me and played with it for a while as well. I ordered 2 more, but really, I think we needed 4 more so we could each have one as well. I was in a bit of a panic when we decided to put it away (and I didn't know how to collapse it), but it was fairly clear how it shrank down to its original shape, and it is back in its original case now. I cannot wait for the kids to find them in their stockings!

You know, this thing doesn't do too much, really, but it is a lot of fun. I got it for the kids for Christmas, based on some good reviews. It turned out to be that kind of toy that just keeps getting picked up and played with here and there. I just saw one of the kids again this morning playing with it, and it's over a month past Christmas.My initial concern, having seven kids from 2 years up to 14 years old, was that it would get twisted or ruined the way a slinky does if it's stretched. I still imagine that it could happen with this, but it hasn't so far. I wonder if part of the reason is that it collapses flat with very little convincing, so while it is not is use, it is very unlikely to be hurt. When it is open and being used, it is usually being gently coaxed to do the things it does, so it doesn't tend to be abused to badly by even the 2 and 4 year old kids we have.Overall, I think this has been a real winner. Lots of bang for the buck. It's kind of a timeless toy.

These rings are awesome! I went with this brand because the reviews were slightly higher and more positive than with other brands. I will attest that the quality of the metal is excellent, more sturdy than a slinky, yet lightweight and "flexible" in the right ways. I wouldn't hand it over to anyone younger than 5 because collapsing the rings, while very simple to do, requires some gentleness / respect that I wouldn't expect a toddler to understand or have the patience for. I bought them because I have a daughter with ADHD who needs to fidget. Playing with the rings, especially when she's in conversations, seems to have increased her attention and focus on the conversation because she's kinetically occupied. In fact, we are all enthralled with these rings and I find myself drawn to fiddle with one when I'm on conference calls. We are all very pleased with this purchase!
