These stakes are longer than most tombstones. It's a "new and improved" design. Not really. These are thinner and longer. Apparently weaker to because one broke off halfway into the ground. Had to jury-rig a solution and drill holes in it to reinforce. Why longer, thinner stakes? Just asking for trouble.

The pieces that come with the tombstone that you are supposed to stick into the ground to hold the tombstone up are too weak. The gravestone will fall over in 15 minutes and eventually will break the plastic rods. They should’ve provided a much better support system for something this heavy. It’s a bummer because the gravestone is good quality unlike the usual cheap ones.
