To ensure proper filter replacement, always refer to the manual for your pump. In general, to replace your filter, turn off the power to your pump and release excess air pressure from the system using the air valve. Remove any band clamps or lids. Remove the old cartridge, dislodging any loose debris. Place the new filter cartridge. Secure the lid or band clamps and enjoy continued clear water in your pool or spa.

Supposed to be a direct replacement for the Sundance Optima filter but much thinner material, and the male end of the filter does not fit into the hole in the tub. Won't be ordering again...

I have ordered quite a few of these and this was one of the best in terms of the molded plastic. Other filters had a bunch of bubbles in the cast of the plastic. It was hard to clean out the bacteria that would collect there. I have yet to see how the filter material holds up but so far I am impressed. It fits my optima 880 perfectly.
