These are amazing.First, the title says they are 2 inches, however, the item dimensions section says it is 1.97 inches. I measured mine and they are 1 7/8 inches. Almost 2 inches. That is good enough.Next, one of the things I noticed is they can magnify a picture at the right distance. However, after 2 inches away from the photo, or text, it is upside down. Not when it is sitting on top of a photo, like it would be when making a pendant or a button, it will be the same size. I even tried two together to see if you would reverse it but it does not, still does the same.Each of these are 1.20 ounces which would be heavy if wearing it in jewelry. Although the description does say it can be used in making jewelry, I just cannot see something that big hanging around my neck, not unless the design includes a heavy chain design to hold it still and does not pull on the back of the neck.I can recommend these for all kinds of craft projects for their good quality.

On the bad side, these aren't quite two inches in diameter -- they're a hair over 1 7/8 inches. On the good side, they're substantial. I was surprised by the weight of the package, and pleasantly surprised by the heft of the individual pieces, relatively speaking. A lot of other brands' cabochons are *very* thin. These aren't, and I'm glad for that. The overall finish is also good -- no chips, defects, or distortion. I'd buy these again.
