Definitely hard to puncture. Made the liner installation much easier and can even feel the difference on the floor when in the pool.

This works very well so you don't see footprints in the sand under a vinyl liner. We recently replaced our liner in our 18x33 above ground pool. So glad I bought this!, it worked well!

I didn't personally install the pad. I hired someone who knew what he was doing. Nevertheless, the guy didn't mention any problems installing the pad. I can say that the pool bottom feels good. I can't say that it is soft because it's not that thick and it is laying on a bed of firm sand (with gravel underneath).Anyway, the pool floor does feel nice and smooth. Wrinkles are very minimal - in fact, I only found 2 minor wrinkles and you don't even really feel it. I've only had it a couple of months, but definitely can't see or feel anything trying to grow through the floor.

Purchased this going by the picture. Wish I had investigated more. The pictures looks like a blue foam padding, but this looks nothing like that. Its a cream to white colored piece of material with the feel of felt and really thin. Very disappointed.

Item is great and was so easy to put down under my pool liner. You don't feel anything under your feet when standing in the pool but softness. The first time we installed a liner we just used the sand and no gorilla pad and eventually you could feel drop offs or pockets in the sand so I am very glad we went with this and installed this between the sand and the pool liner. It made such a difference.
