Used 4 clips from the 10 pack to reduce the chain length of a 5ft heavy punchbag ( ~40kg ). The bag came with 4 attached chains that unite into one swivel link to which it hangs from. I attached one clip to each of the chain links lower section to reduce the amount of chain length in the hanging position. So far so good. With that in mind, each clip is comfortably holding ~10kg each and withstanding the force of punches.

I use these on a safty line for shore side fishing equipment. Tied to the end of para cord they have acted as a teather and prevented the loss to the sea of a few items shuch as rod rests which could go ov er the side. Stainless simply for the corrosion resistance.
