I used these to hang a hammock chair. They were easy to install and the screws were good quality, they didn't strip or break. It holds the hammock securely, and allows for light swinging/rocking. These were way easier to install than the heavy duty large gauge hooks that I usually use for this purpose.

Solid quality and a pretty good bang for your buck! I bought these to help go along with a shade cloth system I was making on my patio and the same sort of components at a big box Hardware store would have cost more than double for all of this stuff! When I do this again on another patio on my property, I’ll be buying the same package again.

These are a bit smaller then I thought they were going to be, that said they do seem strong. I also love the design and useflness of these to basically add steel loops to anything that can be screwed. You can even add bolts through it and attach it to metal too really.

These were exactly what I needed for the dock! I screwed these in to the edges so I had something to tie the rope to that belongs to the magnet we use for magnet fishing. Last time I didn't have it tied to anything, I threw a little too hard and ran out of rope, if you know what I mean. Needless to say, I got another magnet and rope and got smarter, and these were perfect for the job. The D-hooks clasps easily hook onto the hooks and secures the rope/magnet perfectly for those times I throw a little too aggressively, and they hold up to the job like it's nothing. They are very sturdy and look great attached to the dock. Install only took a few screws and a few seconds, so the value for the money was well worth it.

The old screw-in eye hooks seem a tad strained lately for some reason...it's been up a long time.Keep in mind that it will take a little longer to install these than it will a J-hook or a single eye hook, which can be important for many of us as overhead work can be difficult. But it will give you many more points of contact to hold by.

This is a nice $17 304 stainless set of 4 each 3" carbiner and 2" pad hooks, along with wall anchors and 1" screws.I will be using for mooring ropes for my Tracker bass boat this summer. As I usually do with pad hooks, I will be replacing the 1" screws with either 1/4-20 bolts or #8 or #10 McFeely 2" or so wood screws. The 1" will be repurposed elsewhere.Jusr remember the safe working load (SWL) for each pad hook with 1" screws is NOT 600lb but more like 200lb. I'd use two at each hammock end if hanging from ceiling as shown. And I wouldn't want to be rappelling depending on these carabiner. Not rated for it at all.And if you use the pad hooks, always use longer wood screws or bolts, nuts.Great value on a per piece basis.5 stars

These Stainless Steel Pad Eye Snap Hooks are well made and sturdy, rated for a 500 lb capacity. The hooks themselves feel solid and heavy-duty. However, the anchors and screws included with the set are not strong enough to support that much weight — they seem better suited for loads around 20 to 30 lbs.If you plan to use the hooks for heavier applications, it would be a good idea to upgrade the hardware. Overall, the product is decent and works well for lighter tasks, but some extra effort is needed if you want to take full advantage of the advertised weight capacity.
