System worked with my preferred chemicals. I was starting with a pretty rough surface and one step at a time I have a dramatically better looking and protected surface. Take your time!! It would be a 5 but they are not very durable but that’s what you get for less than half the price. I will be upgrading to the nicer pads when these are done. Picture is after one polishing of a motorcycle all three looked the same.Update they have actually held up to a lot of use and abuse and the coloring on the pad has more to do it’s the paint then the pad. It’s very important to keep them clean if you want them to do their job so have 2 ready. Fantastic product definitely 5 stars now

Tried cheaper, no brand polish/buff pads and majority of them while worked, they all had cheap Velcro backings. The velcro backing attached to the pad would detach after few uses, making them useless.These pads have been durable so far, and the square cuts in the pad do help with the heat dissipation, although not as much as you would think. Still better than nothing though.

These buffing polishing pads are a great value for the price. They're fairly durable, easy to use and clean. I highly recommend these pads.

The product works fine and did its job , for light duty application and easy to use when you need. The pads are nice and fit perfectly. I would recommend this if your doing a fender a door .

Adapter does not fit Random Orbital Buffer. This was a great deal but I expected it to work with my Random Orbital Buffer like shown in the pictures but the adapter does not work with it. Only works with a drill. You really should provide an adapter for both types included with these sets.

I’m using this for a Miata quarter panel and door. My DIY paint job was so-so, but this system pads made quick work of flattening orange peel, and then polishing it to a nice luster. The pads have different abrasive levels, so be careful to use the correct ones. I’d also suggest getting a set of wool pads to really add luster.
