I wish I had known about these sooner. They are a must have if you install low voltage for a living. Hell, for $22, even if you don't do it for a living, I'd still recommend it to be in your toolbox. The size is accurate, both for tool fitment, and for gang box fitment. I can't really say much more than that. It's solid metal, so as long as it's being used appropriately and not mishandled or lost, it should last you until you decide you no longer want to do this type of work. It's an easy recommendation for me, especially considering that for just a single tool it's over $15, and that's even at Harbor Freight.

Previously, if you need to cut into drywall, you would have to use a drywall saw to cut into the drywall, but such a cut often requires excess cuts. This box cutter saves so much in terms of patching the excess cuts as well as the amount of drywall dust that is produced. I like that it gives me accurate cuts as long as you are able to start it right. The fit for most electrical outlets is also very good and should produce a snug fit. The quality of the metal should hold up to repeated use without durability issues. For the time saved, this is definitely worth the price. I'd rate it a 10 out of 10 for functionality. Overall, I do recommend it.

Square oscillating blades who would of thought, they actually work good, fit my oscillating tool just fine, they are designed for 1 or 2 gang electrical boxes, sharp and well built, took me a second to get the right feel for it, cut size is accurate, and not expensive!

These make cutting the right size holes for single and dual-gang electrical boxes very easy. These easily attached to my generic brand oscillating cutter and worked very nicely. They won't necessarily reduce the amount of mess needing to be cleaned up, but they will make it easier to have great results. To find the exact spot where they need to be placed, I tend to use a stud finder to roughly locate the stud, then using a 1-inch hole saw, I drill a hole to the side of the stud. I can then use my finger to get a better idea of exactly where the stud is located and come up with a more precise location of where to use the slot cutter.

Thankfully, these saw blades do not properly lock into the DeWalt DCS355 multitool. I tried using the two gang box saw in the Milwaukee M18 FUEL multi-tool (2836-20), and all it did was bounce around and blow out two of the metal posts on the flange of my multitool tool. I was hoping these blades would make electrical box cutouts more efficient, but instead they destroyed an expensive tool that I will now need to have repaired. Hard pass!

What a brilliant idea. These things literally slice into your wall like a hot knife through butter, 😂 I mean it is only drywall but even with hardy board, they cut right through so all around this tool is a must have in the ol toolbox. No more excuses for sloppy ass crooked cuts behind those switch plates. Just install one of the two in this set and and press against the wall where you want it and in less than a second you got your opening to work in.
