These are U bolts... Not much to say other than they appear to be made out of quality material with good threads allowing for ease of assembly. The best feature is they are sold by Amazon so I didn't have to drive to the hardware store!

I purchased these to use as hood downs for the Recpro chair in my shuttle bus conversion. The u bolts and nuts are of decent quality, but the plates are flimsy and bend very easily. These bolts aren’t anywhere near grade 8, or even grade 6, probably more like a grade 2-5, which makes this product a bit overpriced. This is one of the only square u bolts I could find with a true 1.75 interior measurement, so I was limited on options and decided on this set.

The dimensions list the overall length from the inside of U-Bolt. The actual dimensions are from the outside. The added diameter essentially caused the U-Bolt to be shorter than advertized.

For trailers immersed in salt water that have rusted galvanized "U" bolts, these Stainless Steel replacements may be considered. Thorough rinse with fresh water still required.
