Cute squishy light. My daughter really likes this. However, the voice activation is not that great. Also instructions are a little vague - it took us a while to figure out how to get it to work - then the kids were shouting at it to get it to change but it only worked maybe 50% of the time .. seems like you need to speak really clearly and really loudly.

A perfect night for a child sleeping panda gives just the right amount and the glow makes it easy and not so bright that will keep you awake. I have a situated in a bedroom that I used for my grandkids and when they come to visit, they were really impressed with this nightlight. I think the quality is above average and the ease of use is simple and straight forward. It has been so well received by my grands that they have asked their parents to acquire one for their home. I'm sure anyone who acquires this as a whimsical nightlight will be extremely pleased.

Overall, I like this nightlight. It looks like the photo and it works well. It charges via a cord that most of us have and it charges quickly. I think one of the best things about this is the fact that it changes colors. There are lots of these nightlights on the market and many of them only have white light. I find that the colored lights are more soothing and less disruptive of my sleep at night. So, I like that aspect of it. I also like the timer as that shuts off the nightlight after 30 minutes and I find this useful for sleeping. Overall, I will say that the voice control feature is also really helpful. Not only can you turn the light on and off, but you can also change colors using just your voice. So, this is helpful if you want to do so without getting up and touching the light. One thing I will mention, though, is that the commands must be exact for it to hear you, so you will want to keep the included instruction card near you. I find most of the commands to be intuitive, but there are one or two that have to be worded in a precise way that’s not natural to me. Also, the extent to which you can turn the light on and off from across the room seems a bit finicky to me, so don’t count on voice controlling this from very far away at all times. Sometimes it works though. Lastly, I will say that I have a bunch of night lights like this and some of the other ones are justcuter to me. I think that this might be because this panda is pretty small and is kind of flat with a smooshed in face. To be fair, it does look like the photos, but it’s smaller than I thought it would be. This is nitpicking, but When I think of a panda, I think of something larger and rounder and (to be frank) a bit cuter. So, my suggestion to the manufacturers would be to increase the cuteness of this item. With that said, the item functions well for the price and has some VERY nice features that aren’t on most nightlights, so I still think it deserves five stars. Overall, this is a nice product and a good choice if the design fit your aesthetic.

With a handful of colors, and multiple brightness levels, the Dreaming My Dream squishy sad panda light is one of my favorites of all of the cute animal lights.The squishy silicone feels safe for young children, and the tap and squeeze functionality is super easy to use. There's even voice commands.The simple set of commands allows you to turn on or off the light, change the color from white to a handful of RGB colors, and brighten or dim the light. I'm not going to lie, I wish all of these controls were available without voice commands, but that's not a problem.In terms of battery life, I got just short of 10.5 hours on full brightness. Recharging the light was quick, I didn't time it, but I think it was about two hours.The physical switch on the bottom of the light lets you choose between the always-on mode or a 30 minute auto-off mode. Perfect as s night light.Considering all of the functionality and options baked into this little light, especially considering the totally offline voice commands, I think it is a good value light.

Last year we got a similar super-cute panda night light, so when we saw this one with multiple colors and voice (!) control, we couldn't resist getting it as well.We were a bit concerned when it arrived and looked *exactly* like the one we already had, down to the same box and product number. But the manual that came with the new one confirmed that it had voice commands, so we charged it up and gave it a go.First, some help with the voice control. The instruction manual just contains a numbered list that appears to reflect different options, without specific instructions about how the modes are accessed or used. Initial attempts to get the panda to operate by voice command did not have any effect, and we were concerned that maybe this one was just the same as our old one. But it was our error, and we finally figured out how to get the voice commands to work.What looks like a numbered list of modes is actually a list of the specific words you have to speak to select the particular mode.So, if the panda is switched on and you say, "Turn on the light" - the panda lights up! Each time you say "change the color," you get the next color in sequence. Saying "white light" changes you back to the default color. "Auto color" cycles through a range of different colors - this was our favorite new mode! And we are still saying "turn off the light" on occasion, but as the manual notes you have to say "switch off the light."We were surprised by how well the voice commands work - just make sure you are saying the *exact* words of the command! You may want to keep the manual handy until you get the precise wording of the seven commands memorized.While we already knew we liked the basics of this mellow night light, with the 30-minute timer being particularly useful, the voice command capabilities and multiple colors take things up a notch!
