I luv these callipers. I have a front one that fits one of my custom bikes, but the rear is not strictly road, so this one didn't fit. Had to return it..

Bought the first caliper to replace the front caliper that fell apart on my Retrospec Harper Plus, (finding that I'm gonna have to replace most of my bike's factory parts). Was super happy with how easy it was to install, how it looked, and how well it performed on the road so I bought one to replace the rear caliper. For the money, imo, you can't beat em.

I bought this an an upgrade to my Tektro Brakes that came on my bike and and I am thoroughly impressed with. The first time I took my bike out with these brakes it was a little wet and the calipers and brakes worked perfectly.

Like them. Bought front and rear. Very easy to adjust. Had to enlarge back of fork crown and front of seat stay bridge to accommodate recessed nuts. For the price a nice replacement. I would purchase again.

Came in earlier than expected but I was glad. Placed on my road bike (rear) and fit perfectly! I might actually buy the front brake caliper as well.

Bought this for the single speed frame I picked up on a whim. Went on easily (I had to dremel out the mounting hole on my frame a bit, but that was a frame issue, not the brake) and has been working well for about two months now. I will probably upgrade it to something nicer down the line, but for right now it is a fantastic value for the money, zero complaints.

I'm pleased with my purchase from amazon. Avid made a good product(apex rear Brake) Good construction very good feel in your hand while braking. Produces a skid with as many frequencies as one desires. Only downside is see is that the branding seems a bit garish. Subtle brand awareness is always the best. It is Priced well. The installation was easy to accomplish. Buy only if you actually need it, otherwise you'll be spending the money in bank account which could lead to negative numbers on your balance sheet.
