SRAM have always made good chains, this is no exception.. easy to fit ( I had to remove a link but that is simple with a chain-tool) performed brilliantly. Shipped as most chains are coated in sticky grease, best cleaned off with a chain degreaser and re-lubed before fitting. Improved shifting very noticably on an ageing bespoke steel bike with Ultegra 6600 series chainset and cassette compared to Shimano chains.

I like the hollow pin design of the 1071 along with the quick link to connect the ends. When I want to clean the chain by removing it from the gears, the process is very easy and doesn't require the chain break tool. Good purchase ready for a few thousand miles.

My 9speed sram drivetrain was very noisy and difficult to tune. I tried a KMC chain and 9-speed SRAM chain and same result. I read you can use a 10-speed chain on a 9-speed drivetrain so i tried this one. Soooo much smoother and quieter. Worth the extra money

He gastado tambien de KMC y este modelo de Sram creo que es el mejor por relacion calidad precio.Dura mas que modelos superiores asi que al menos a mi no me merece la pena gastar mas.

I've purchased this chain in the past and I know that it's a good chain, works well and will last for a while on my SRAM equipped bicycle. What really got me to write this review is the great service that I received from Planet Cyclery (PC) when the order was delivered in a wet, damaged, opened and empty envelope. I contacted PC when I couldn't figure out how to file a claim through Amazon and found them very prompt and within minutes I was informed that they had credited my credit card. I placed a reorder the next day from PC through Amazon and received the new chain 3 days before Amazon's promised delivery. That is great service!!

Light works well. Charge lasted at least 2.5 hrs on high; probably would go longer but I was done riding. This is NOT a 10,000 lumen light. 1000 lumens probably. Still plenty bright. If using this light for mtb'ing, it does shake a bit on your handlebars. The light itself if larger than most others which is what's causing the shaking.

Very easy to install especially if you invest in the special tool used to install/remove the included quick connect link. Great lifespan, cleans up nice. A real dream to ride during the first few outings while the manufacturer's lube lasts. The only chain for me. Tip: I noticed the last one I purchased had the exact correct number of links for my bike, great!, whereas previous purchases had a few too many links which I had to remove to make the correct length. So have a chain-break tool handy, in case you need to remove some links to match your current setup.

My ride came with a mix of shimano and. SRAM, but I finally got around to upgrading and running all X9 SRAM, cassette, chain, derailleur and shifters. Should have done this along time ago, don't mix and max shimano with SRAM IMO. Shifting is so smooth and solid now!

Replaced original Shimano 105 chain with SRAM 1071 hollow pin and Powerlink and was SO easy to install (after removing several extra links). The SRAM chain was more noisy for the first 200 miles when chainline angle between compact crank (double) and rear cluster was within 2 or 3 gears of the widest angle but after 200 miles it quieted down and noise differences between the two chains disappeared. Chain cleans up nicely and is going strong after 800 miles. I clean the chain on bike with a Simple Green in a chain cleaner but nice to know that I can simply remove Powerlink and replace with a new one if I want to take chain off the bike.
