VERY light, compared to the factory ring on my FSA Tempo crank (AL vs steel - no contest). It might seem a bit of overkill to pay $30-ish for a single chainring, but it ticks the weight weenie box and it allowed me to go to a better crank config (48t-36t, vs 50t-34t). Hard to put a price on having your gear to your specification.
