It is also the lightest aluminum crankset in the market. For more rugged terrain the X0 rings are compatible with our removable bashguards. The X0 Eagle Transmission Flattop chain features a Dark Polar finish specific to X0, has been plated with electroless nickel, and comes with a PVD coating for unbelievable resistance to corrosion and wear.

Eagle
Offering riders a wide range of gearing options, smooth and precise shifting, and durability to tackle the demands of off-road riding. The Eagle system is characterized by its 1x (pronounced "one-by") drivetrain configuration.
- Crankset includes a single chainring mounted to the crank arms
- Cassette is mounted onto the rear wheel hub and contains multiple sprockets of different sizes
- Chain connects the chainring on the crankset to the sprockets on the cassette
- Rear derailleur is responsible for moving the chain between the sprockets on the cassette to change gears
- Chainrings are specifically designed to work seamlessly with the rest of the Eagle drivetrain components

Once properly set, shifting works flawlessly with stellar performance. My frame is not 100% compatible with the derailleur but was lucky get help and to find the required adapter in my LBS.This is an outstanding high-end product and certainly expensive. Good advice would be to make sure your bike is designed for this transmission before buying, work with your LBS. Cheers!
