This is a nicely constructed mail organizer and storage unit! I love the chevron pattern and the slide out drawer for keys or whatever else you may not want displayed. I was worried it may not fit our Jeep keys, but it did! It also fits flush against the wall and is not warped in any way that I can see. I was equally impressed that the company had it wrapped in bubble wrap and surrounded by foam packing to prevent any damage in shipping (which was actually a big concern of mine). Very glad I've finally upgraded and organized our countertop mess!

Typical composite wood is used here which is basically all these sort of organizers are made of anymore. Thankfully this one does not have the unsightly notches made by laser cutters I keep seeing on so many.There is a smell to this unit (perhaps from the paint or glue), but I expect it will go away with time. The size is just right for my desk area. I can fit books and mail in the two back slots, and the smaller slots are deep enough to hold pens without toppling over (scissors not so much though). The drawer is, as I expected, a bit too short and narrow to get much in it (11x1.5x4 inches, roughly); but it serves well to hold tacks, clips and other small office staples.Ultimately, I like this organizer, and it goes well with my other desk storage options.

The horrible chemical smell coming off this organizer was overwhelming. It filled my entire living room within minutes of unboxing. On top of that, the paint job was sloppy and uneven. It looked and smelled so bad that I ended up junking it immediately. Really disappointing quality all around.

This serves its purpose but I have one major concern: right out of the box, this thing reeked of a chemical factory. The odor was incredibly strong and unpleasant. I had to leave it outside in the sun all day, and even then, there was still a noticeable hint of that smell. It was quite overpowering. I certainly hope there are no long-term health effects from whatever those fumes were, but if you're sensitive to smells or chemicals, and especially if you have little ones or young animals in the house (we do not so we kept it), I would advise staying away from this product. At the very least, it would be prudent to investigate what the finish or materials might be made of. Honestly, I have never encountered anything with such a potent and concerning odor before.Aside from that, the item does what it's intended to. We use it in the kitchen to organize things like mail, pens, letter openers, small notepads, and other little doodads. It's definitely an item we utilize daily. I just wish that the strong, chemical smell could be avoided. I'm certainly hoping that the manufacturer isn't intentionally using the cheapest and most noxious materials to make these. It wasn't a dollar store item, so I am cautiously optimistic that there are no long-term health effects. Ultimately, I am deducting one star for that fume of unknown origin. Three stars would usually be for an average product that does its job, but due to that really nasty chemical odor, I have to dock it a star.
