The description and our measurements should have worked out but did not. Had to return. Product was shipped and packaged just fine. Not sure if the error is on us or them. However couldn’t use it.

Great value with the same quality you'd get at your local hardware store.

Springs were great but color code on them was wrong. Caused a lot of trouble installing them. But figured it out and got it done correct.

Size: .234" x 2" x 28"The local overhead door companies wanted $200 just for two springs. No installation. No winding bars. No replacement bearing. At $71 shipped, these springs were worth the week's wait.Pros:- A pretty easy DIY job for someone who's accustomed to mechanical work. A couple YouTube videos by professional installers show it to be an academically simple task.- Springs came appropriately packaged to travel three-quarters of the way across the U.S.- Springs are well lubricated with machining/tempering oil. Your hands will be black if you don't wear gloves.- Locking screws were clean and new.- The right-side spring had black paint on the end and the left-side spring had red paint on the end for identification.- Includes a replacement plastic center bearing.- Includes 2 winding rods.- The winding rods have two different ends. One end is full diameter. The other end is machined down to a slightly smaller diameter. Either end can be used to suit one's needs.Cons:- The included plastic center bearing has a *very* small lip that is supposed to rest in the center support bracket once the two springs are bolted together in the center. I had a hard time getting that tiny lip to stay in place. Next time, I think I'll buy a to see if the support lip is wider and easier to install.Tip:- The springs squeaked and popped after installation. I don't think the existing tempering oil was enough to lubricate between the coils. I sprayed them with lubricant and they behaved much better.

Hard to install but works fine. Saves a lot over calling out a service company. Be sure you order the right size and follow the utube videos to safely install.
